The Archie 3rd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament

The Archie Pays Homage to Lyman Archibald, a protégé of James Naismith, and a member of the very first basketball team. Ever. Archibald then brought basketball to New Brunswick and established a basketball court at the St. Stephen YMCA. This court is the World’s Oldest Basketball Court. After a fire in 2010 and ever since, local volunteers have been working to save the court and build a Basketball World Heritage Center, allowing generations to come to enjoy the rich history of the world’s oldest existing court, dating back to 1893. The project has been profiled by the Globe and Mail, CBC News, CTV and more.
